The IIHA is proud to announce the details surrounding the 2007/2008 IIHL Development Division Play-Offs.
IIHL Development Division Logo This weekend the inaugural season of the IIHL Development Division will come to a close with the IIHL Development Division Play-Offs. With this will also come the conclusion of the first ever full season of ice hockey in Ireland run by the IIHA.
It will be a full weekend of action as 4 teams will compete for a chance to win the 2007/2008 IIHL Development Division Play-Off Plate. The 4 teams are the Dublin Wolves, league winners, runners up, Kilkenny City Storm, the Whalers and last but not least the DkIT Ravens.
The Semi-Finals will take place on Saturday night, 24th May, the first starting at 9 p.m. while the second faces off at 10:15 p.m. The two winners of the Semi-Finals will then face each other in the final at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday night, 25th May, with the 3rd/4th place game following.
In addition to these 4 games, 2 friendly games will take place as the Latvian Hawks and Flyers I.H.C. welcome the Dental Flyers to Ireland. The Dental Flyers hail from Switzerland and these 2 games will round off a thrilling weekend of ice hockey.

Friday 23rd May:
Friendly @ 10:00 p.m. Latvian Hawks v Dental Flyers
Saturday 24th May:
Game # 1 @ 9:00 p.m. – Dublin Wolves v DkIT Ravens (1st v 4th)
Game # 2 @10:15 p.m. – Kilkenny City Storm v Whalers (2nd v 3rd)
Friendly @ 11:30 p.m. Flyers I.H.C. v Dental Flyers
Sunday 25th May:
Game # 3 @ 9:30 p.m. – Winner of Game # 1 v Winner of Game # 2 (Final)
Game # 4 @ 10:45 p.m. – Loser of Game # 1 v Loser of Game # 2 (3rd/4th Place)
All games take place at the Dundalk Ice Dome and entry is free to all games so come along and bring the entire family.
