The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Irish Ice Hockey Association (IIHA) will take place this Sunday 14th August 2011 from 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm at the Roganstown Hotel & Country Club in Swords, Co. Dublin.
This is the first time the IIHA has hosted the AGM at the Roganstown Hotel & Country Club in Swords, Co. Dublin and to assist our members in finding the venue please see the below directions.
The venue for the AGM is located just 5 minutes from Dublin airport, so if you plan to travel using public transport we urge you to avail of any services that stop at Dublin Airport.
Roganstown Hotel & Country Club also offer Sunday Lunch, so if any members would like to have a bite to eat before the AGM they can do so.
The IIHA hopes its members have a safe and pleasant journey to and from the venue.

Directions to Roganstown Hotel from Dublin Airport
At the large roundabout at the exit to the Dublin airport take the first exit left off the roundabout. This leads towards Swords
You’ll pass the Coachman’s Inn on your right and come to a roundabout.
Turn left at the roundabout.
Continue on this road until you come to another roundabout (you’re driving with Dublin airport and runways on your left).
At this roundabout turn right (second exit off the roundabout).
Follow this road to the very end – it’s about 2.5 miles but seems longer because it’s a country road. You’ll pass Knocksedan Demesne housing estate on your right.
At the end there is a T Junction (Swords-Ashbourne Road) – turn left.
After about 50 metres turn RIGHT towards Ballyboughal and Naul.
Roganstown is about 1/4 mile down this road on the left.
Directions to Roganstown Hotel from M50
Heading north come through the toll plaza
Continue past the Navan/Blanchardstown exit
Take the Finglas/Ashbourne exit and head for Ashbourne.
Take first exit for Coldwinters and at the end turn right for Ashbourne
At second traffic lights (Kilshane Cross – you’ll see a timber yard on the corner) turn right.
At first roundabout (you’ll see the airport runway in front/right of you) turn left.
At next roundabout turn left.
Follow this road to the very end – it’s about 2.5 miles but seems longer because it’s a country road. You’ll pass Knocksedan Demesne housing estate on your right.

Directions to Roganstown Hotel from M1 coming from Dublin
Coming from Dublin take the exit to Swords/Dublin Airport

Continue on this road until you come to another roundabout (you’re driving with Dublin airport and runways on your left).

Directions to Roganstown Hotel from Dundalk / Northern Ireland
Heading south take exit for Naul/Balbriggan
When you come off the M1 follow signs for Naul
When You enter Naul Village turn left toward Ballyboughal (when you see Killians pub in front of you turn left)
Continue on this road for about 5 miles (you’ll pass through Ballyboughal village after about 3 miles)
Roganstown is on your right about 2 miles from Ballyboughal.
Alternative directions from Northern Ireland via M1
Heading south take exit for Swords and Donabate.
When you come off the M1 you enter a roundabout.
Follow the signs for Swords.
You come on to the old M1 heading for Swords.
You follow this road to the first roundabout and take the 3rd exit (turn right)
Continue to the traffic lights and turn right.
Continue on this road and take the second turn left (signposted for Roganstown)
Continue on this road (Balheary Avenue) for about 2 miles. You’ll pass Balheary Church after about half a mile on your left and about a mile further you’ll pass Swords Golf Course on your left.
After Swords Golf Course you’ll come to a crossroads – turn left.
Roganstown is about 200 metres on your right.
Directions to Roganstown Hotel from Ashbourne
From Ashbourne head north for Dublin on the main Dublin – Derry Road.
Just outside the town on the Dublin side turn left onto the R125 for Swords.
Follow the signs for Swords.
After about 4 miles you will pass the old Rolestown National School on your left and about a mile further on you will pass the Rolestown Inn pub on your right.
After the Rolestown Inn take the second turn left – signposted for Ballyboughal and Naul.
Roganstown is about 1/4 mile down this road on the left.
