Dundalk Bulls v Dublin Rams

This weekend the Dundalk Bulls took on the Dublin Rams in the Irish Ice Hockey League, and it was a tight and even match, until the Bulls started to play some really competitive hockey. Hogberg & Larrabree from the Bulls had a breakaway, and it was a perfect opportunity for the Bulls to score, but Rams goal tender Eric Tobia stood solid. Both the Rams & Bulls had perfect chances to score, but credit has to be given to goaltenders from both teams who stood solid throughout. Nothing could separate these two teams in the 1st period, and it remained 0-0 going into the intermission.

The Bulls got out of the stalls the quickest, with Sebastian Wachowski roofing the puck past Eric Tobia who was left peering over his shoulder in disbelief, as the 1st goal of the game was scored. Thoms Hartley came close netting once again for the Rams, but Brent Trull just couldn’t get the puck to meet the stck. The Bulls were on the attack once again, and Sebastian Wachowski the goal scorer was involved in finding Dooley in the slot, who then scored a blinder at 29:28. The Bulls weren’t satisfied with just that, as Colin Port scored a well developed goal at 36:10, with the score board showing 4-0 going in the 3rd period.

The Bulls went out onto the Ice at full power, with Tabb, Hogberg & Dooley all netting goals within the first 10mins of play in the 3rd period. Gareth Martin netted his 1st goal of the game for the Bulls at 53:40, while Jokim Mojak scored a great goal, to make the final score 9- 0 to the Bulls.

Adam Pepper & Christian Ajnesjo played well in nets for the Bulls, both having clean sheets, but despite the score, Eric Tobia was outstanding in nets for the Rams.

Final Score – Bulls 9 v 0 Rams
SOG – Bulls 70 v 14 Rams
PIM – Bulls 51 v 34 Rams
