After falling behind 5-0 the Fyers did an excellent job of stepping up the defence and gave their goalkeeper a much needed reprieve from the firing squad he faced in the first half of the period. Keeping the Bulls from scoring was a tall order but the Flyers defense was up to the task.

Bringing the Bulls into double figures with an unassisted goal was #16 Eric Hogberg. The Bulls continued to play very physical hockey. Nearly 13:00 into the period #17 Sean Dooley scored the Bulls 11th from about 10 feet from the blue line. The Bulls made it 12-0 on an unassisted goal by #12 Alexandrs Kjodorous. The Bulls made it a baker’s dozen with yet another goal by #9 Kenny Redmond with Eric Hogberg getting credit for the assist. A great deal of credit in the victory goes to the Bulls goalkeeping.
