The IIHA is pleased to announce that Irish Senior team player Conor Redmond’s jersey is now being displayed in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada. Conor wore this jersey in the 2013 WC’s in South Africa where he was named Irish player of the tournament. We are all very proud of this honour for Conor!
The plaque accompanying the jersey reads:
“Irish National Team jersey worn by Conor Redmond throughout the 2013 World Championship, Division III, that was held in Cape Town, South Africa. Redmond recorded seven points in five games to be named Ireland’s Best Player of the Tournament as his country finished in fourth place, narrowly missing out on a medal”.
