IIHA Launch Exciting New Video Feature

The IIHA and its IT and Editorial Staff is pleased to announce that the IIHA is introducing a brand new feature to its website and have teamed up with hit video-sharing website YouTube to publish videos and clips about Irish Ice Hockey.

This week is the start of the new and exciting feature and we kick start things with several clips from the early days of Irish Ice Hockey including a throw back to the original Dublin Flyers team.

Currently available on the site is a clip from Setanta Ireland which is from the 2007 IIHF World Championship Division III in Dundalk. This includes analysis of the first period from South Africa v Ireland game as well as several interviews with the fans there to cheer on Ireland. Also available is an RTE News Report regarding The Dublin Flyers heading to Scotland to take part in a tournament and also another short clip introducing The Dublin Flyers.

Every Sunday, a new clip will be available on the site with one of the very first games to take place at the Dundalk Ice Dome kicking things off. The Dundalk Bulls took on Team Ireland in a sell out exhibition game in preparation for the 2007 IIHF World Championship Division III.

Be sure to check the site out every week as you never know who you might see as the IIHA relive some of its greatest moments from the past.
