On Saturday the 5th May 2012, the IIHA are launching their Learn to Play Ice Hockey Program at the Santry National Ice Sports Arena. We welcome all beginners of any age to try out the sport of ice hockey tomorrow. From 12pm-1pm, the Under 16s will take to the ice to learn the basic skills of ice skating and ice hockey, and have some fun trying out a new sport this Bank Holiday Weekend. From 1pm-2pm, we will have another Learn to Play session for Over 16s. So, parents, kids, beginners and even those who may have played before but are hoping to work on their basic skills, please come to Santry tomorrow and participate! All protective equipment, including ice skates, will be provided for you. However, if you have your own skates or equipment, feel free to bring them. The Cost is 10 Euro for one hour of ice time. Remember to arrive early to have time to get dressed and take the ice on time.
The IIHA will be running these Learn to Play programs every weekend from now on and further updates are to follow. Until then, PLEASE come out and give ice hockey a go tomorrow, Saturday the 5th May 2012. Remember: Under 16s are on the ice from 12pm-1pm and Over 16s are on the ice from 1pm-2pm. 10 Euro for the hour.
To register for the Learn to Play session tomorrow, or if you have any questions at all, please contact: office@iiha.org.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the ice soon!
