The IIHA will be holding it’s first of many Team Ireland Development Camps this coming weekend. The camp is open to all Irish Citizens and Team Ireland Coach Jim Tibbetts and Assistant Coach Tony Griffin will be running all sessions along with some current Team Ireland Senior players.
We are hoping to asses the various levels of youth and womens hockey players within Ireland over the next 8 months with the hope to submit national squads to IIHF competitions for Under 18, U20, Womens as well as Mens Senior in 2009.
Further camp dates will be released within the next few weeks.
Saturday 17th November
9am to 9.45am – Age 14 to 16 for 2009 u18 team
10am to 10.45am – Age 16 to 19 for 2009 u20 team
Sunday 18th November
9am to 9.45am – Girls 15 years and older for 2009 womens senior team
10am to 10.45am – Mens 16 years and older for mens 2008 senior team*
*Mens Senior National Squad will not be selected until March 2008 for Romania
