Last weekend (12 June 2016) the Irish Ice Hockey Association’s Under 10’s National Development Team, The Saints, participated in the 2016 Godiva Cup in Coventry, United Kingdom. The IIHA are delighted to report that the Saints took away not only a fantastic welcoming experience but also the Godiva Cup. Out Under 10’s played exceptionally well in the tournament and put on display all of the best qualities of youth hockey. The team were led by Coaching Staff Aaron Guli, Paul Cummins and Giorgio Pavesio. Our gratitude goes out to the players & parents who travelled to Coventry for the weekend. Our special thanks also goes out to the other participating teams, particularly to our hosts the Coventry Blaze Academy.
The IIHA look forward to continuing to build our National Junior Development Programme following a very successful 2016.
