The IIHA are pleased to announce the formation of a new sub-committee which will be tasked with the day to day running of the IIHL, IIHL Recreational Division and IIHL Development Division next season.
The IIHA’s League Committee will be answerable to the Executive Committee who will provide constant direction and guidance.
The League Committee will comprise of three officer positions as follows:
•Chairman
•Vice-Chairman / Secretary
•Administration Officer
Therefore, the IIHA invites applications for the above positions.
All positions are voluntary and the League Committee will commence work in early August.

A select number of applicants will be called for an interview and following these interviews the League Committee will be appointed.
The length of term that the successful candidate will have shall be discussed at the interview stage. However, the position will be subject to regular evaluations including an Annual Review.
GENERAL DETAILS
The main roles and responsibilities of the League Committee will include but are not limited to:
•Liaise and meet with all teams of the IIHL, IIHL RD and IIHL DD before, during and after the season
•Liaise with the ice rink facilities as necessary
•Organise and co-ordinate the schedules for the leagues
•Reschedule games throughout the season as necessary
The Chairman’s main roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Direct and monitor the League Committee’s activities at all times
•Provide the Executive Committee with constant reports on the League Committee’s progress
The Vice-Chairman / Secretary’s main roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Taking the lead in creating the schedules
•Re-scheduling games throughout the season as necessary
•Assisting the rest of the Committee in its overall activities
The Administration Officer’s main roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
•Co-ordinate and organise all off-ice officials for all games
•Ensure all scores and statistical information are kept up to date on a regular basis
Each position will:
•involve approximately 2 – 5 hours of work per week during the season
•be subject to regular evaluations including an Annual Review
The Executive Committee will at all times support you in your role by providing guidance and assistance whenever required.
